After more than two years of hard work and support from amazing donors and volunteers, the Universal City Dog Park is finally a reality!  Work began on the park on March 30; the grand opening event will be Saturday, June 4, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Join us with your dog and explore this wonderful park.  There will be vendors, music, contests(do you look like you dog?), hot dog sales, door prizes, and other surprises.

This is the newest dog park in the San Antonio area.  It is divided into two parks, one for dogs under 30 pounds and one for the larger dogs in the family.  When they get thirsty, they will have access to several watering stations.  For the humans, there are even concrete walkways wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and scooters.

In the future, as additional funds are raised, trees, agility courses, tables, and benches will be added for everyone’s fun and relaxation.
